Wade Schools

disclaimer - Not employed by CTFishguides.

Wade Schools was born, raised, and still resides in Enfield, CT. Wade started fishing years before he could drive, chasing bass and pickerel in local small ponds and trout in the brooks and rivers within bicycle distance. Wade has always had a passion for fishing and after he was able to drive he bought his first fly rod. That's when it all really began. From that point on, Wade started driving up to the Farmington River whenever he had the opportunity to chase the finest trout in the state on the fly. Through the years Wade has had the opportunity to learn from some of the best anglers who fish the Farmington River. Several years ago, Wade was introduced to Andrew Lyons who mentored him on the art of nymphing. Working with an accomplished teacher, Wade was able to pick up and pursue the art of nymphing. Many moons later, Wade became the teacher and enjoys seeing others perfect the art form that is fly fishing.

In addition to the being an excellent angler, Wade is also an accomplished fly designer and fly tyer, with many of his patterns sold at UpCountry Sport Fishing along with the other CT Fish Guides proven patterns.
